HASEGAWA Toshiyuki

HASEGAWA Toshiyuki1891-1940

A Western-style painter of Japan. He did some valuable work in public to get the prize in the Nika-kai exhibition, however he spent the dissolute time in the downtown such as Asakusa. None the less he is known to express the living scenes and the people living in the poor area in the downtown of Tokyo with bold and freewheel touches.
