FUJISHIMA Takeji1867-1943

A Western-style painter in Japan. With KURODA Seiki, he achieved the leading role in the oil paintings in Japan. He started from the Art Nouveau on the end of 19th century in France and opened up a new course of the Japanese original oil paintings.
