KUMAGAI Morikazu1880-1977

A Western-style painter in Japan. He was active in the Nika-kai and the Niki-kai, and late in life active only in one-man-shows to concentrate on painting, so called ‘a rishi in the painting world’. He painted naïve and magnificent works with clear lines and simple color squares.
